A BILL to amend the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, by adding thereto a new section, designated §18A-4-22, relating to salary increase for school personnel.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:

            That the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, be amended by adding thereto a new section, designated §18A-4-22, to read as follows:

ARTICLE 4. SALARIES, WAGES AND OTHER BENEFITS.

§18A-4-22. Salary increase for school personnel.

            Beginning July 1, 2015, all school personnel, including, but not limited to, teachers, service personnel and retired teachers shall receive a six percent salary increase.

            NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to give all school personnel a six percent salary increase.

                        This section is new; therefore, it has been completely underscored.
